Once again it was Lightning Jack and his beanie that stole the day amidst howls of protest from Hornets supporters. Brawling broke out after the match with finger-pointing and accusations of foul play and hat trickery.
Union officials confirmed that there would be an enquiry. The seized beanie is to go on display in a glass case at the Howlers Hall of Fame.

Pencil Drawing: Studley and the Aviator
Studley Snout led the Howlers to another victory with outstanding aerobatic skills. This came as a major blow for the Hornets amidst growing murmurs that their “Aviator” was becoming too long in the tooth.
